So I just scored today the last copy of Shirow Masamune's Orion manga! For those of you too young to know of Mr. Masamune or who are not versed in the anime/manga front, then here is a wonderful link to Wikipedia telling you about this mans greatness!

What?! You thought I was going to take time to tell you about him? What? You have enough time to read my babel, but not enough time to go off and get educated by reading a possibly 90% accurate article about this Manga artist. OK, OK ! Briefly the man is responsible for the manga Ghost in the Shell, yhe that movie from the 90's and later TV series from a few years back. The manga is awesome, I say go read it. He is also responsible for Dominion: Tank Police and Appleseed. Ok, got it? Good! Want to know more about the man, then go to the link and read up on him and venture one step closer to being a scholar of obscure information.

So why the rant G? Well, I am board............ and I came to the realization that Mr. Masamune is not talked about as much anymore. Partially cause he has drifted into the obscurity of Illustration work. Also because he has not published a manga in a few years. (Yes I am still waiting for the rest of Dominion: Conflict.) So to rectify this issue of younger anime/manga fans (otaku) and to get back my drawing chops, I will be working on a series of fan illustrations based around the manga and anime that Mr. Masamune has done, which helped inspire me and turn me into the uber nerd I am today (I die a little inside every time I come to this realization) SO, lets see if my word is good and I can do this, or if I am full of ....................Hot air! Seriously guys get your minds out the gutter.
